Manufacturer Description

This presentation pack was issued on 5th July 1994 by the Royal Mail. It contains a set of five mint stamps, which were produced to mark the 250th anniversary of golf's first set of rules, which were drawn up as the Thirteen Articles, in 1744 by the Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers.

The golf courses represented on these stamps are: The Old Course, St Andrews; Muirfield; Carnoustie; Royal Troon (the 8th hole is known as the "Postage Stamp") and Turnberry.

Ideal as a gift or keepsake, making a wonderful addition to any collection.
